So now I'm currently without a knitting project :(
I can't decide what to make next! Someone was knitting up a great snake which would be perfect for my little guy, then there were those adorable little gnomes and then of course there is always the adorable Milo vest that everyone is making *grin*.
Having a few days after finishing the gloves did give me enough time to finish my book, Room by Emma Donoghue. I devoured it in two days! It was such a riveting book of the kidnapping of a young girl at the age of 19 and the son she gave birth to while living in captivity in an 11x11 room. Dark but oh so good!
I apologize to everyone that left comments last week and I haven't had a chance to get back to you :( We just had an insanely crazy week and I've been thinking of each of you and am going to do my darndest to make it to all of you this time!! Plus I need to scope out all your projects and books so I can figure out what to knit next *grin*.
Hugs,
Rosina
Still in love with those gloves, Rosina! I hadn't even thought of the difficulty of sizing more accurately than with mittens. Phew, way to go!
ReplyDeleteAnd why did you have to remind me of Milo?? ;) My head is already spinning with new projects I want to launch into!
Yeah for finished projects!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the breather before you dive into another. :-)
I, too, am getting in some reading between projects. Time to catch up with that.
Congrats on finishing with flair!
I really really love that yarn. I used a similar in my bag, the flecks are what make it sooo cool!! So much excitement when starting a new project yes?
ReplyDeleteGREAT job on the gloves! They look so warm =) I look forward to seeing what you decide to work on next.
ReplyDeleteAwesome gloves -- so manly!
ReplyDeleteThe gloves are wonderful, I love the color of the yarn and they look really warm too!
ReplyDeleteI'm so in awe of your gloves. Fantastic job! I'd say go for the milo vest, but I've been eyeing those gnomes as well!
ReplyDeleteYour gloves turned out great! I've never even tried to knit gloves, don't know why, but I find them somewhat intimidating...
ReplyDeleteGreat looking gloves!!! And I've been considering a Milo vest too... :)
ReplyDeleteGreat gloves :)
ReplyDeleteI will have to look into that book, sounds like something I would enjoy.
it always feels so great to be free to choose new projects :) ...that book sounds really interesting :)
ReplyDeleteHooray for gloves! Those look terrific!
ReplyDeleteLove the gloves, they are SO great!! I have heard the book is great too, hmm, so little time....
ReplyDeleteThe gloves are perfect! Wow!
ReplyDeleteThe gloves turned out great, Rosina! Yay! Picking the next project is a happy kind of trouble, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI just love those gloves. And a little big on a growing boy is always a good thing. The books sound like it would be hard to put down, always wanting to know what's next. Good luck finding a new project. That's always fun.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Elizabeth
I have never attempted gloves before! Yours look absolutly beautiful. What a lucky boy you have :)
ReplyDeleteI am still way too intimidated by gloves! Maybe one day...!
ReplyDeleteI have been longing to do a Milo vest (seems everyone has done one!), but am waiting to purchase "the right yarn".
